world<\/strong>. This Indian region, nestled in the Himalayas between Tibet and Pakistan, is the<strong> ideal terrain for an unforgettable road-trip!<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>E<\/strong><\/span><strong>hemed with towering peaks<\/strong> (some over 8,000m high), you'll pass through <strong>lush green valleys<\/strong> with <strong>abundant wildlife<\/strong>. Then, as the elevation increases, the landscapes become more arid, and only a few camels and <strong>Buddhist monasteries<\/strong> perched on the mountains remain. Huge lakes emerge from the mountains\u2026 in short, as you can imagine, we fell in love with this place. The terrain is particularly well-suited for exploring by motorcycle, and there are plenty of motorcycle rental shops in the capital, Leh. It\u2019s also possible to rent a 4x4 with a driver.
